We founded the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial Association in 2007. Ever since we have been fulfilling our mission to take care of our own—by helping the families and coworkers of this county’s officers tragically killed or seriously injured in the line of duty. Our Memorial Association is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization.
Our members are volunteers from this county’s law enforcement agencies. Each year we hold numerous fundraisers. But to adequately fund our ongoing projects we also depend on generous donations from businesses, civic organizations and citizens.
We help the families and coworkers of this county’s fallen heroes—whose ultimate sacrifice helped keep their communities safe—in many ways. In addition to providing these survivors individualized forms of support, we also host an annual memorial ceremony in honor of their lost loved ones.
Our long term goal is to build a permanent memorial. We are currently considering potential sites for its home, and soon will launch a Juried Arts Competition to generate memorial designs from professional artists. To help cover the costs of our annual responsibilities—and the design, construction and ongoing upkeep of our permanent memorial—we really need your help. Please give generously to this noble cause.
