Duty. Honor. Sacrifice.

Never Forgotten

Our Mission

We hosted the official Dedication Ceremony for the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial on Friday, May 15, 2026. Over 150 honored guests attended, including family and coworker survivors, retired and serving officers, and local dignitaries.

On that day, which also marked National Peace Officers Memorial Day, we formally honored the 49 fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice—what Abraham Lincoln called “the last full measure of devotion”—while protecting the people of this county.

That’s when we unveiled the Fallen Officers Wall, which features their names, agencies and end of watch dates forever etched in stone.

In 2007 we founded the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial Association, which represents this county’s 33 law enforcement agencies. Our mission is to take care of our own by supporting the family and coworker survivors of this county’s officers who are tragically killed or seriously injured in the line of duty.

Since then we’ve been staging annual ceremonies to commemorate the fallen, and awarding annual college scholarships to preserve their legacies. But our primary goal was always to build a memorial that permanently recognizes their selfless courage, dedication, and service.

Although most of the Memorial’s construction and landscaping costs have been covered, we still need additional contributions to fund its sustainability for generations to come.
